คำอธิบายฉบับภาษาไทย
อันนี้เป็นตัวอย่างของ Statement of Purpose (นิยมเรียกสั้นๆ ว่า SOP) ที่ผมใช้สมัครเรียนในหลักสูตร MSc Information and Intelligence Engineering ที่ University of Liverpool ประเทศอังกฤษครับ ใครที่วางแผนจำสมัครศึกษาต่อระดับปริญญาโท แต่ยังไม่มีแนวทางการเขียน SOP ก็ลองโหลดไปดูเป็นตัวอย่างได้เลยนะครับ
ข้อกำหนดในการใช้ SOP ของผม
1. ใช้ SOP ฉบับนี้ เพื่อเป็นตัวอย่างและแนวทางในการเขียนเท่านั้น
2. ห้ามแม้แต่จะคิดที่จะคัดลอก SOP ของผมไปใช้ในการสมัคร มิฉะนั้น คุณจะถูก Reject จากทางมหาวิทยาลัยที่คุณสมัครทันที ตรงนี้สำคัญมาก เพราะทางมหาวิทยาลัยสามารถค้นหาได้ว่าคุณคัดลอก SOP มาจากไหน (มีมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งหนึ่งในรัฐเพนซิลเวเนีย จำไม่ได้ว่า Penn State หรือ U of Penn ที่คัดชื่อนักศึกษาที่สมัครออกเลย ข้อหาคัดลอก SOP มาสมัครสอบ)
3. ถ้าใน SOP ของผม มีไวยากรณ์ตรงไหนผิดพลาด ก็บอกกันได้เลยนะครับ ยินดีรับฟังเพื่อนำมาพัฒนาต่อไปครับ
4. SOP ฉบับนี้ เป็นเรียงความที่ใช้สมัครศึกษาต่อในภาควิชา Electrical Engineering and Electronics ถ้าคุณจะสมัครในสาขาและภาควิชาอื่นๆ ขอให้ลองพิจารณาการเขียน SOP ของคุณให้เหมาะสมด้วยครับ

สุดท้ายนี้ ก็บอกเอาไว้ก่อนนะครับว่า SOP ที่ผมเขียนนั้น อาจจะยังไม่ใช่ SOP ที่ดีสุด (บางคนอาจจะคิดว่าห่วยสุดๆ เลยเสียด้วยซ้ำ) ถ้าคุณคิดแนวทางการเขียนของตัวเองออกแล้ว ให้ลองเขียนดูเลยครับ อาจจะดีกว่าของผมอีกก็ได้

This is an example of my Statement of Purpose (SOP for short) that I use to apply for MSc Information and Intelligence Engineering, University of Liverpool. If you are preparing to study abroad (especially for postgraduate study) but you still can't find out how to write your own SOP, you can download my SOP for use as guideline.
Important policy for using my SOP
1. You will use my SOP as the guideline [size=10pt]ONLY!!![/size]. You have to write your SOP by your own.
2. Don't even think to copy my entire SOP for your application or you will be reject by the university that you apply for plagiarism. This is very important because the application committee can find the original SOP that you use for your application.
3. If my SOP has the grammar error, feel free to let me know so I can improve it.
4. This SOP is use for application at Department of Electrical Engineering and Electronics. If you are apply to another program or department, make sure that your SOP is corresponding with the program that you apply.

Finally, I have to say that my SOP is not the best (some of you might think that this is the worst SOP you've ever seen). If you find out how to write by your own style then try it, it maybe better than my one.
